Chantel Lockwood, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Chantel Upson Lockwood is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is looking forward to providing individual therapy (counseling) to adults of any age at Lakeshore Wellness Services.  She currently provides individual therapy to teens, as well as family therapy, at a  Day Treatment setting.  


Chantel received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Syracuse University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Potsdam.  She specializes in various treatment approaches, some of which include: Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused.  Chantel is Level 1 certified in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).  She is also a Certified Conscious Life Coach and Consciously Awesome Ambassador, providing personal life coaching services alongside the Consciously Awareness Program. 


With over 10 years of experience in the human services/social work fields, Chantel is excited about this new chapter in her professional life.  She is looking forward to providing quality counseling services and conscious life coaching at Lakeshore Wellness Services in Wolcott.  Depending on their plan, clients may submit a claim to their insurance company for reimbursement.  Chantel is also in the process of being able to accept insurance payments through several major health insurance companies.

Susan Townsend, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Susan Townsend is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is excited to provide individual, family and group therapy at Lakeshore Wellness Services.  A 2007 graduate of Syracuse University's MSW program, she currently provides substance abuse and mental health counseling at an outpatient agency. 


Susan has a therapeutic style that is supportive, honest, and non-judgmental.  Her areas of specialty and interest include: anxiety and panic disorders, PTSD, vicarious trauma, grief & loss, anger management, and supporting medical professionals.  She skillfully utilizes a blend of treatment modalities, including Family Systems, Motivational, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Functional Family Therapy Techniques to help clients achieve their personal goals and live life to its fullest.


Depending on their plan, clients may submit a claim to their insurance company for reimbursement.  Susan is also in the process of being able to accept insurance through several major companies.
